Widest range of titanium plates and sheets can be produced in the cold rolling method with the bright surface, in hot rolling with pickling or sandblasting as well as water grinding surface, those specifications of titanium plates and sheets can be flexible and customized, and the thickness of the sheets is less than 3.0mm and then can be called pure titanium or titanium alloy sheets, if titanium plate thickness more than 3.0mm, they will be called titanium plate.
There are some differences between sheets and plates, also titanium sheets can be in different shapes including titanium flat or straight plate, titanium coil sheets, titanium foil, or titanium strip based on the thinner sheets thickness, they can be used in the medical, aerospace, heat exchanger, pressure vessel, oil & gas, etc.
The manufacturing standard can be ASTM B265, AMS4902, AMS4911, ASTM F67, or ASTM F136, or as per customer request, aerospace titanium alloy plate and medical titanium sheet must be tested with UT100% unconditionally with good microstructure level or customized requests is available.
